Installation guide for “Stampa CREA”
The walls should be free of: grease, dust, paint, release agent or any other element that could keep “Stampa CREA” from being stuck.
Make sure there are not cracks because “Stampa CREA” us a decorative coating and IT DOES NOT guarantee to stop the cracking made by the natural construction moves. In cases of having a crack, fix it before applying “Stampa CREA”.
All of the constructive joints should be respected.
Clean the surface and get it wet before applying “Stampa CREA”.
Mix a bag of “Stampa CREA” with 4 liters of water until you get a doughy and homogeneous mass. You can do this with a drill or even a shovel or a spoon.
The used engineering in the design of “Stampa CREA” allows it to be applied directly on brick, concrete, block, plaster or previously covered walls.
In case of irregular walls, the first layer of “Stampa CREA” can be used as regulator.
Once the “Stampa CREA” missing is done, Its life will be of around 2 hours, depending on the weather.
The recommended temperature for “Stampa CREA” is around 15 or 30°C.
Apply “Stampa CREA” directly to the wall, do so until you completed the wanted, and marked by the guides, thickness. This will depend on the deepness of the joints and the texture to be stamped. Normally 10mm is enough.
Then it will be necessary to flat the surface to get it plane.
Prepare the molds by adding release agent of different colors on them. It can be done with your hand or a brush without saturating.
Once the “Stampa CREA” is ready to be stamped put the mold over the wall and push until you get the right penetration.
The right moment to start stamping is when the brightness made for the wetness disappears. Or when you lightly push with your hand and gets not stuck. Change the mold to another position and push. Make sure that the mold always has release agent to avoid it to stick.
In the molds’ joints some wrinkles can be made. These must be corrected before the “Stampa CREA has dried.
Once it has dried, clean the excess of release agent with water and a brush until you get the wanted look. It’s possible to blur with coloring in powder to the water or acid to create a closer to reality image.
Once the wetness is gone, seal the surface with “CREA seal” using a brush or a roller. 2 layers can be necessary.
Let the first layer to dry before you add the second one. For at least 2 hours.
